Minutes of the Monthly Meeting of the Board of Directors of
Westlake Homeowners Association
February 14, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
Board members in attendance: Fritz Gerwe, Bill Scharwatt, and Rolland Royce. The meeting scheduled for February 13, 2023 was postponed due to a lack of quorum. Chris Heuer and Lev Volod were absent.
Minutes of the January 23, 2023 board meeting – approved.
Treasurer’s report. Rolland reviewed the January 2023 financial statement, noting that currently 257 homeowners have paid their 2023 dues, which is about 10 more than last year at this time. None of the prior past due accounts have paid. Rolland noted that under the past-
Architectural Design Review Committee and common area maintenance.
No requests have been submitted
Asphalt path on Westlake Drive north of Amberwood Circle – Green Growth has completed the trimming and shrub removal, and the improvement is significant. Bill will contact S-
Tree removal requests policy – the board discussed the policy draft, with edits/updates to be completed in March.
Conference call platform – the board authorized Rolland to set up a Zoom account for future meetings. The Annual Meeting in March 2023 will continue to use the existing contact information.
Issues raised at the March 2022 annual meeting:
Crossing protection at the two intersections of Westlake Dr. and Amberwood Circle – Rolland will review the documents from the last effort to improve this safety issue and will report back in March.
Reserve study: Rolland will coordinate an update of this required study by March 31, 2023.
