ADRC

As of March 2010, new roofing guidelines were voted in place by 78% of Westlake homeowners. The restrictions regarding roofing are found below:

>> Roofing Amendment

ROOFING PRODUCTS GUIDELINES AND LOCAL INSTALLATIONS

The selected roofing material shall be compatible with roofs on surrounding homes as well as the architecture of the subject house. Additionally, the roofs shall include uniform tones of dark brown, dark grey or charcoal. Roofs with saturated colors that are monochromatic or include very disparate color tones or shades do not comply with these criteria and shall not be approved by the ADRC.

The color 'Charcoal' refers to a range of shades varying from grey to dark grey. It does not refer to any product or brand name assigned by a manufacturer to its roofing color palette.

Exceptions might be granted when the subject roof is screened from neighboring roofs due to its orientation, physical separation and/or vegetative cover.

The following are a few roofing products that are considered a good fit with the design guidelines included in the roofing amendment.
